Playing Together Being Together

What we do

Playing Together Being Together provides an environment full of positive modeling to learn from while children play. Classes combine loose parts exploration, music, and sensory experiences. We are a safe space to learn and connect with our children and classroom community while supporting social-emotional growth.

Embrace the moment…

Children might:

  • Explore materials

  • Sit with their caregiver

  • Get messy

  • Be joyful

  • Cry

  • Push, hit, or take from other children

Parents can learn to:

  • Be an active observer

  • Encourage, rather than force

  • Notice & describe sensations

  • Lean into the joy

  • Respond with deep breaths

  • Teach a new skill

Our Offerings

  • Book Club

Creates a space for parents to discuss books on parenting, child development, and personal growth while connecting and sharing insights with others.

  • Parent/Child Classes

Facilitates interactive, play-based learning experiences where parents and young children engage together in activities that support early development and bonding.

  • Community Engagement

We believe in creating ripples of positive change and connection that extend beyond our classroom walls into our community.

"Everyone longs to be loved. And the greatest thing we can do is to let people know that they are loved and capable of loving."

-Mister Rogers

“Thank you so much, Melissa! I have to say that your class is hands down one of the best classes I have ever experienced - both as a facilitator/teacher (I used to teach creative movement and imaginative play classes to this age level in my pre-Mom life) and as a participant. I am so incredibly grateful that my son will be able to grow in such a safe environment as he learns how to be in the world.”
